I really love music like this.
The first song, Feels so Good, is by Supercell featuring Nagi from the album Today is a Beautiful day. Supercell is probably most well known for his work with vocaloids songs in his album Supercell. His second album, Today is a Beautiful Day, features all vocal works by Nagi. Some of you anime watchers may recognize her voice in, Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari, the OP for Bakamonogatari. Onto Feels so Good itself - Smooth piano and bass. Playful guitar strumming in the background. Sweet drums. SEXY vocals. The song is about a girl playfully enjoying her weekend; The instrumental solo that comes in the middle was pretty awesome in reflecting the time that the girl spent mindlessly having fun while nearly missing the last train of the night. How could anyone not feel good after listening to a song like this? :P The second song is by Aftergrow featuring Mineko from the album URBANIZED STEREO. Aftergrow is a touhou rock group run by Hiratake and it is the first time that I've heard him arrange something like this. While 坂道 (Sakamichi) is similar sounding to Feels so Good, the mood of this song is a bit darker sounding in comparison. Nevertheless, the vocals are once again the highlight of this song, along with the amazing instrumental work to back it up. Does anyone know of another other songs that are similarly sounding to these two? Lastly, a quick update... I decided to start reading Swan Song instead of waiting for Steins;Gate. So far it is looking to be a pretty dark story with an interesting premise!
