Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity by あんかけスパ. My poor Radeon HD5770 can't handle this game on the highest settings. I had to settle for Medium-lowish settings in order to run at a smooth 60 FPS. For an action RPG, a steady 60 FPS is a must; especially in a game like this where I'll be expecting tons of bullets to be on the screen during bosses. My Surface Pro 1 could barely handle this game. I had to turn all the graphics settings down, AND I had to lower the resolution in order to get the 60 FPS. Despite the lowered settings, the game still looks fantastic and is a serious improvement in graphics over their previous game, Enchanting Swordplay Reverie. In addition to the amazing graphics, Adventures of Scarlet Curiosity also has some really well arranged soundtracks, done by Hachimitsu-Lemon. I've listened to a couple of their albums before, but never really liked their works. However from what I am hearing in the game, they've done a fantastic job for the game's OST. I have a feeling that I'll be playing this game a lot, once I'm done with Enchanting Swordplay Reverie. The two playable characters are Remilia Scarlet and Sakuya Izayoi, so I think I'll start with Remilia! Most importantly, the download link can be found on Doujinstyle's C86 game download thread, along with the download link for AREA-ZERO's Magical Battle Arena NEXT (I won't touch that game yet due to the complexity of it and all the settings). Also... read more for some initial screenshots from the game!
